Man, you talk, among other things, about low status here. Jesus humbled himself and took low status by being born in a stable and taking on human flesh. He teaches humility to me and to all who will listen.

How does He teach humility during this example to you and to all who will listen?

Man,
He teaches us humility by His own example. This is the son of God, we're talking about. He could have chosen any means of entry to this world imaginable.
He chose to be born in a barn. By this example He shows us that we should not try to inflate our own status. If He was okay with a barn full of cow poop, who are we to demand anything more?
But, I want to add one thing here, friend. It seems you like to argue with any statement made regarding faith in Christ.
It may be that you should take these arguments to Him.
God Bless You,
Birdman

I want to know: How do YOU apply this into your life so that YOU can be more humble, get better fruits. How do you APPLY this story to be more humble?

Man,
How do I apply this in my life? I've been blessed with a wonderful business that provides me with a substantial income. And the temptation is to take credit for it myself. But I recognize that anything I have comes from God. If I have the ability to sell, it is because God gave me the characteristics that lead to sales success. How can I take credit for something that was given to me as a gift. It would be like bragging about having brown eyes, or being 6 feet tall.
I have been free of my pornography addiction for over 2 years now. And I can say without any doubt that I had very little to do with this freedom I enjoy. God, by His amazing grace set me free. He miraculously took away the temptation, the draw, that irresistable urge to go and look. It was Him, all Him.
One of my children has had some struggles in life. During a couple crucial periods, when we were sick with anxiety God gave me some words of wisdom and a path to take with my daughter that may have saved her life. It would be nice to be able to say that I have wisdom, or I have knowledge or I have spiritual power and insight, blah, blah, blah. But it was God.
It's all God. He chose to intervene in all of these examples and many more. And I can't really say that I'm a humble guy. I'm not. I'm a prideful sinner. I want to take credit for what's happened. And in some cases I have. He handles that, too.
There's more, but I hope you can see how He works to keep me humble.
I will pray that He will come to you.
God bless,
Birdman

Hi Man, first off, there is nothing in me that is intrinsically humble. The human heart is wicked - at least since the first man's first disobedience. My heart is wicked. No good comes from me. The humility that He teaches by His example is simple. It is to consider others as better than myself. Scripture (Isaiah 58 verse 6-8, Matthew 25, verses 31-45) speaks about loving God by feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, giving shelter to the homeless, visiting the widow. All practical demonstrations of love. Humility comes from making yourself a servant to others - willingly - not out of a legal or other obligation but because you want to do it.
I am also not yet a person who can be humble as Christ wants me to be.
