I am married in my 40's with no children. I was brought up in a religious family and I am still very committed and consider homosexuality as Sodomy and a serious sin .
But ever since I was about 9 I have been attracted to younger men/children in their underwear or those who allow it to show. Especially if it is white, which readily sets me off to MB.
It is an obsession, but I have never done anything other than look with lust. Of course I got caught up with this on the internet and my boundaries became looser and looser until I was looking at pornographic images at work -I don't mean anything illegal by the laws of the land - but it was enough to upset some people and quite rightly I was dismissed. At which point my wife and others found out my uncleanness.
I do not now look at anything indecent on the net - I only use the net on publically controlled , well filtered computers and will not have one at home - but the underlying problem of seeing boys of whatever age underwear still exists and is difficult to keep clear off when boys are so ready to show it off.
I have tried going into the roots of this obsession - emotionally remote father, the oedipus wound , too attached to the mother etc. but I would be very grateful if any others on here can give me any fresh insights in what caused this problem - with helpful references and how I might be healed of it.

Welcome! I wish you well and hope you find good advice and support. This board is now so small and quiet that you may not find anybody here now with insight into your situation, which is different enough from mine that I have nothing useful to contribute. May you find the freedom you seek, though!
