I really don't watch that much television there are only a few nights during the week where I do, and all I ever see or hear is stuff about this election and it makes it really hard to trust either candidate. One person might have a commercial saying that they support one subject, but the other has a commercial saying that the other person doesn't really support the subject and they are trying to trick you. I wish the candidates would be honest, but we live in a world where you have to lie and hide the truth to get very far. I am not going to be voting, I am only 19 and I really haven't looked into the topics that are being discussed between the candidates enough to know what the differences are between them.

I don't know that the debates would resolve all of the conflicting information you are seeing in the commercials, but you can find them online, if you look.  The candidates' websites would also give you an opportunity to explore their positions in more depth than a 30 or 60 second commercial does.  There are many christian websites that have voters' guides that tell you what the candidates voting records have been.  When you do not inform yourself and vote, you get the government you deserve.  You have two weeks to do your homework.
