A Radical View of Grace
The Bible depicts men as "slaves to sin" (Romans 7:14), "enemies of God" (Romans 5:10), "powerless" (Romans 5:6), "controlled by the sinful nature" (Romans 7:5), "bound to disobedience" (Romans 11:32), and "dead in sins" (Ephesians 2:1-2). If we really believed this about human nature, we'd have to believe in a radical view of grace!
