Probably most of us here have experienced emotional and/or physical pain. It is important to forgive anyone who has hurt or disappointed us, but what do we do if we are angry with God as well? I have not read these books, and am not familiar with their authors, but they may be a starting point from which to explore anger or disappointment with God.

| THRUTH SEEKER , I GOT ANGRY WITH GOD AND TOLD HIM HE TOLD ME HE WOULD COME THREW FOR ME, I TOLD HIM I HAD ENOGUH , AND HE CAME THREW FOR ME, I BELEIVE ANGER IS AN EMOTION , THAT CAN BE CONTROLED TO GOOD, BUT I WOULD NOT ADVICE ANY ONE TO USE IT ON A SINNER , GOD KNOWS WE ARE HUMAN HE GAVE US THESE EMOTIONS, I DON'T THINK HE IS GOING TO DUMP US OR QUITS US BECAUSE WE SHOW IT SOMETIMES BUT HOW WE CONTROL IT DOES MATTER

Johnny Cash, interviewed for his last CD, his Mother's Prayer Book (he died a few months after it was recorded) mentioned that he'd never "box with God". I agree with him - God's too big to pick a fight with. I have, however, in the past expressed some angry words with God but I can't remember getting into that mood in the past two years, though I have fretted over personal circumstances.

Thanks for your feedback. I think we're all going to get into that situation at some time in our lives.

Yes, I just had the thought of a tiny child about two-thirds mouth having an uncontrollable temper tantrum and thumping the leg of its dad as hard as it could but dad isn't feeling any pain because he's built large and is six foot 3.
