I am 32 years old, married, and have three so this is very hard for me. I have been addicted to porn since I was about 12-13 years old. I am currently deployed to Iraq with 4 months to go. I have talked to my wife about all my past failings so I have her support. That's the easy part. I seem to do ok for a while but then all of a sudden I will spend a few hours online. Then the desire goes away and I struggle with the doubt and the fact that I have failed again. It is such a violent cycle for me. I feel that every time I look at porn I have cheated on my wife. After I promised my wife that I would not look at porn anymore I failed her and now I can't seem to bring myself to tell her.
I know I am not the only one that is going through this and is it good to be able to talk about it with others that have gone through it.

I am glad that you are reaching out as you can. It is a real blessing that the internet is available to you to get help. Even though the internet can be such a cesspool with porn, it can also be a great tool to get help.
What practical steps can you take to eliminate your exposure to pornography while you are in Iraq?
As mentioned before, thank you for serving us in the way you are. I pray that you will be kept safe and brought home to your wife and kids not only safe, but on a new path as you seek out sexual purity in Christ. Blessings to you brother!
