Last time, I logged on to blazing grace is three years ago.
Back then I was using the company computer to log on and read the topics that were written. I stopped when one of you told me it was stealing from the company. Today, I am one of the thousands unemployed. I am going to school to be retrained in a new carrier field. With going to school, I purchase a lap top computer and now I am able to log on and not be stealing from any company.
A question that I will throw out to all of you. Are you feeling that the church does not care or wants to hide it head in the ground on the addiction of pornography. Being a member of a big church and being the only one to confess to addiction to pornography. We have a group for the youth, children, retired, women, and men. But no group to help men in the toilet of porno.

Welcome back!

Of course, I can only offer one data point; I don't know any way to talk about "The Church".

All the SAA and SLAA meetings I attend are in churches, and I think the churches show great compassion and courage and love by allowing us to meet there.  Of course, we are just there as renters of meeting space, but it would be very easy for the churches to refuse to rent us that space, or to look askance at us when we arrive.  That doesn't happen.

My own parish is small and does not do much directly in this area.  Quite a few years ago, I was asked by the priest if I would be interested in a support group for people struggling with porn.  At that time, my interest level was pretty limited, and the group never came into being.  Since then, I'm seeking recovery in settings other than my own parish, and that's working for me.

One church in my area has a large service for recovering addicts of all stripes once a week.

Could we do more?  Sure.

If you're the only member of a large parish to admit addiction to porn, then a lot of people are not being honest, IMHO.
