Hello all I welcome any friends and fellowship christian or not,...I also hope I can help and support others who need it.
As said in the title of this post....I am currently having a good 6 days since the height of my failure.
And my failure has been so big over the years even though born into a christian family and always being a strong believer and trusting in God's power.......although this is also why Satan has attacked me even more so I suppose. And I have in fact due to the effects of pornography,helped near ruin a limitless potential sporting career....
Anyway the sin was first introduced to me from 2 brothers who I was friends with from school between the ages of 8-14 and it was about age 13 when they showed me videos or magazines (unfortunately there mum was a widow and didn't mind them looking at videos or internet etc) so that's where it all started really,and I have had on/off struggles probably typical to any christian or non christian but considering my strong faith its obviously a bigger burden for christians (although we do know the word and the truth which gives us the advantage!)
Anyway basically I have seen probably everything on the net bar real rape/death. And this came to a head last wednesday as I went back to the most extreme impossible(actually when you know,worryingly easy to find!) to find content which I hadn't seen for some years.
So from that day I really have tried to kill it....and of course I have tried this before we all want to stop and we really all know the clear way is to read God's word and pray eachday and surround ourselves with holy and disciplined things. But it is easy to not find time for God waht with TV and daily life etc...but there are 24 hours eachday and we just need to prioritize of course.
Anyway after thinking of joining and finding help before I couldn't find a perfect place but this looked the best as I want to find fellowship and if needed accountability and regular support or closer friends which also needed to be mainly christians too,as I'm sure other places could help to a degree but as a young christian I need the full help and support that we all need to live a spiritually complete life.
I hope I will make good relationships and llok forward to sharing and conversing and helping others.
