A lot of you have probably read my testimony; how I brought a pornography addiction into my marriage. God has delivered me from the lust, but I could really use some pointers to restoring my marriage. We have 4 kids, ages 2 - 9. So, it's obviously very busy around our house. It seems that my wife and I are just missing each other, relationally. There's just not any real quality substance to our relationship. Also, I'm a guy, and as far as missing the obvious / being dense, etc., I fit every stereotype. So, if there's anyone out there that might have some advice for a man that loves his wife, but has a hard time showing her on her level, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi CB,
Whether you hire a sitter, ask family to enjoy the kids, or trade off with another family, try to get out together at least once a month, more if you can. The quality of non-intimate time, for most women, is extremely important, and can affect the quality of intimate time as well.
You might read, if you have not already done so, the book The Five Love Languages, of which there are now several more specific variations.
You could see if any of the ideas on this page appeal to you, or more importantly, would appeal to her.

And, at risk of stating the simplistic, just ask her. The simple honesty of telling her that you would like to grow in these areas and asking what would be meaningful to her is probably refreshing.
I applaud you for recognizing that the busyness of life with young children can drain togetherness and connection/romance. That awareness is half the battle.

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE, MY DAUGHTER IS FREE OF HER ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH HER BOYFRIEND!
I found the answers for prayer that works in my life , i have been reading and praying and paying tithes and god is moving ,
i prayed god would break the soul love my daughter had with her boyfriend because he was not being a good man of god to her she is home now where i know god will get her a good job and get her into school , i also never talk negative , i always talk positive claiming every word god knows can be so if we say so
i came from a family of 8 my dad was a drunk, my mom was beaten . every since i had a hard child hood it made me a better person or want to be, i know each and every person is different and i do believe that some of your past can be rubbed off onto you, but when you find god its up to you to change and no one else,
people go to church and they sometimes think man i didn't get anything out of that , but just when you need it god is bringing it back to you threw the holy ghost he is helping you remember
so church it is important , to hear his word and fellowship
i have always been a loner, and no, i would not put up with my husbands porn or acholic behavior so i told god i need my husband father you gave him to be what ever it takes fix this so i can be with my husband to help him ,
my husband is going threw a lot of physical pain every night in his body ,
i know its god, god has removed his grace from him and has him thinking constantly about this pain to where he is now seeking god, i feel sorry for him and try to help ,but i know this pain is from god working on him , and all my answers to prayer are being answered
i really believe if every prays this prayer every morning you will see answers happen in your lifes ,
god take me this morning , make my mind, my body ,my spirit ,my heart ,yours ,protect me from the demons out there all of them , protect my husband 's mind ,body, spirit ,and soul from them too , protect my kids
let someone enter thier life every day with something to say about the lord and the answers they need to hear ,
i walk threw the house with my arms in the air saying this as loud as i can claiming every word to be so , i tell the lord i love you and no matter what all i have ,is yours, show me want it is you want and let me tell others , thank you for your blessing and help me tithe like none other in these times of need, i pray for the unborn children killed every day by sinners who don;t understand what it is to take a life , my troubles are small , but if my god can part the red sea he can do this for me!!!
AND HE IS LADIES , I WILL ADD I DO NOT MENTION OR ASK MY HUSBAND IF HE WAS BAD OR GOOD, I JUST LOVE HIM WITH A KISS AND TELL HIM HE LOOKS NICE TODAY .
I USUALLY HAVE THE CHRISTIAN RADIO STATION ON FOR HIM , HE IS GETTING CLOSER TO GOD TALKING OPENLY AND HE IS NOW EVEN TELLING MY DAUGHTER MOMS RIGHT SIS GOD IS ABOUT TO RAPTURE US OUT WE HAVE TO WALK THE WALK AND TALK THE TALK
WANT TO PLAESE GOD RESERACH WHAT IS GOING ON AND WATCH GOD MOVE IN YOUR LIVES
