As the following headlines from December show, the enemy continued to destroy lives with sexual sin through the Christmas season.

– Pastor charged for sending sexually graphic photos of himself to a minor on Snapchat
– Pastor at Indiana megachurch admitted to filming dozens of sex tapes with his wife, content that exploded into public view after his son, allegedly “high at the time,” hacked his parents’ files before being arrested for “sadomasochistic” child porn.
– A well-known Pentecostal preacher and televangelist is arrested and charged with child sex crimes in Oklahoma
– Former Baptist university V.P. indicted for lying about grooming, rape accusations
Lest we forget, when Jesus was born Herod was planning to kill him; after God thwarted Herod he responded in rage and had the male infants 2 years old and under killed in Bethlehem.
As we move into 2026, the cries of the men, women, and youth whose lives are being torn apart by porn and other forms of sexual sin will continue to rise from our churches. Will we step into the battle for their hearts? Earlier today I was talking to a friend about current events. He spoke of the quiet revival that seems to be taking place, then we discussed whether those precious new converts will be discipled. In my friend’s words, the vast majority are not discipled and will be left hanging out there to figure it out on their own, especially in the sexual arena.
Our hope here at Blazing Grace is to be the tip of the spear in the battles for those who are in bondage to sexual sin and the wreckage it causes in a marriage. As always, prayer is critical.
“But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

God to open doors. For Him to go before us, crush the resistance of the enemy that Paul mentioned, and open doors for effective work.
For God to send the sexually broken, and their spouses, our way for help.

Many of you know the pain, shame, and sorrow that sexual sin inflicts on a marriage. You also know someone who is going through it – they just haven’t told you their story yet. One mom I interviewed on our radio show shared that her then 17 year old son confessed he had been addicted to pornography at the age of 9. She had no idea. For some of you, that person who hasn’t opened up with their story is a family member.
We have several opportunities we’re looking at – a booth at the National Religious Broadcaster’s convention in February, participation in the New Wine Festival in the UK which is reported to see 30,000 visitors, and more.
