I hope you’re having a blessed summer. For an outdoors-junkie like me, this is my favorite time of the year, when the climate warms up and the landscape is lush and green.
I will be in Phoenix for several days the third week of next month. I’ve rented a house there for the purpose of offering those of you who live in the greater Phoenix area an evening where we can meet for fellowship, offer help, and pray together on what the Lord might want us to do on helping the sexually broken in Arizona. There is no cost to attend.
The meeting will be on Friday, August 23, at 6:30pm, at a house in Phoenix. I’ll share my story and about Blazing Grace, then we’ll have a time of questions and answers for those who want help, discuss possible steps we could take to minister to those who are hurting from porn addiction or adultery in Arizona, such as setting up a From Porn to Grace conference or other event (such as having me speak at your church or organization), pray together, and have time for fellowship. You’ll also meet my daughter Bekah, who’s been accompanying me to our conferences and speaking engagements.
Feel free to invite anyone who would benefit from this meeting, including your pastor or other ministry leaders, or an individual or couple who need help. With so many men and women who are broken and hurting from the porn epidemic in the church (I’m assuming you’ve seen the surveys showing that two-thirds of Christian men and 30% of Christian women are viewing porn, including pastors) there’s a huge need to offer effective help in this area.
